Pricing

Pricing: every package on the page, not after three calls.

Every package and every price, in INR for companies registered in India and USD for everyone else. Ad spend is never included. We take no marketing retainer below ₹25,000 or USD 750 a month; if a proposal comes in under that, it is not from us.

  • Three options per service: a one-time SNIFF audit, a FETCH retainer (or fixed project), an ALPHA programme
  • Minimum terms stated on every card; after that, month to month with 30 days' notice
  • India prices exclude 18% GST; global prices billed in USD with no GST under the export rules

Pricing rules

How the numbers work, in writing.

The floor. No marketing retainer below ₹25,000 a month in India or USD 750 a month elsewhere, whatever the story. Under that, the work cannot be done properly and we would rather say so. Website maintenance after a build is quoted separately and is not a marketing retainer.

Which price list. Billing follows where your company is registered. Indian entities pay the INR list plus GST, whatever market they sell into; companies registered outside India pay the USD list with no GST.

Setup fees. They cover the 20 to 40 hours of onboarding, audit and strategy that happen before recurring work starts. If you have completed SNIFF in the last 90 days, the setup fee is waived on FETCH, ALPHA and PACK LEADER.

Payment. Every engagement starts with a one-page statement of work approved by email. The first month of any retainer plus the setup fee is paid in advance. Later months are invoiced on the 1st and due within 7 days. After 15 days overdue we give notice and may pause the work; it resumes on payment, and overdue amounts carry interest at 2% a month. Indian clients pay by UPI, bank transfer or card through Razorpay; international clients by card or bank transfer in USD through Stripe or a wire, with transfer and card fees borne by the payer. Indian clients may deduct TDS where the law requires it; share the certificate and we reconcile it against the invoice. Fixed-scope projects such as a website build are paid 50% on start and 50% on launch.

Taxes. GST at 18% applies to Indian clients and is shown separately on every invoice. Export of services is zero-rated, so international invoices carry no GST; you are responsible for any local taxes in your country.

Terms and notice. Minimum terms are on each card. After the minimum, either side can end the engagement with 30 days' written notice. If you leave inside the minimum term, the remaining months of that minimum are still invoiced, unless we have missed an item of the process guarantee, in which case you leave at the end of that month with nothing further to pay. Fees for work already done are not refunded; see the refund policy.

Discounts. We discount the risk, not the rate: a one-time SNIFF audit you can buy before committing to any retainer, a short minimum term, and a guarantee on process rather than rankings. A cheaper rate is not on the table, because the first client's price becomes everyone's price.

Founding clients. The first five retainer clients get the setup fee waived and a one-month minimum instead of three, in return for a named monthly results page on this site, good or bad. The offer closes when the five places are filled.

What is never included. Ad spend, paid tools licensed in your own name, video shoots, and anything not written on the package card. Anything else is quoted in writing before work starts.

FAQ

Pricing questions we get asked

How much does SEO cost in India per month?

Public price guides put Indian SEO between roughly ₹8,000 a month for a freelancer and ₹2,00,000 a month for a large agency, with established mid-sized agencies mostly in the ₹25,000 to ₹75,000 range. WoofRank starts at ₹45,000 a month for the FETCH retainer, with a ₹15,000 one-time audit as the entry point. That places us squarely mid-market.

Why are ₹999 or ₹2,000 SEO packages risky?

Because at that price the only thing that can be delivered is an activity report: a few directory submissions, some automated "backlinks" and a PDF nobody reads. Proper SEO needs a person doing technical work, writing content and earning mentions every month, which cannot be bought for the price of a meal. Cheap packages often cost more later, in clean-up.

Why are prices published when most agencies hide them?

Because hiding them wastes everyone's time. Published prices filter out mismatches before a call, and they hold us to a standard: if it is not on this page, it is not a fee. Most agencies quote after three calls; we would rather you knew on the first visit.

Is SEO cheaper in India than in the US or UK?

Yes, and that is why we keep two price lists rather than converting one. Indian clients pay Indian rates in INR. International clients pay USD rates that are still below typical US and UK agency fees, because our costs are lower, not because the work is different. The scope of each package is identical on both lists.

Is GST included in the India prices?

No. India prices are shown before GST, and 18% GST is added and shown separately on every invoice so you can claim input credit. Companies registered outside India are invoiced in USD without GST under the export-of-services rules.

Why is there a setup fee?

Because the first month is front-loaded: access, audit, keyword and prompt research, tracking setup, baseline capture and the 90-day plan take 20 to 40 hours before recurring work starts. Charging nothing for that would mean either skipping it or hiding it in the monthly rate. If you have bought SNIFF in the last 90 days, the setup fee is waived on FETCH, ALPHA and PACK LEADER.

What if my budget is under the floor?

Start with a one-time SNIFF audit. It gives you a prioritised 90-day plan you can run yourself or with a freelancer, and the free visibility check is open to everyone. We will not take a retainer under the floor, because it cannot be done properly at that price.

Can I switch packages later?

Yes. You can move from FETCH to ALPHA at any time, and from ALPHA down to FETCH at the end of the minimum term. Moving to PACK LEADER from any FETCH package is usually the cheapest way to add a second service.

What is the minimum commitment?

None for SNIFF; it is a one-off. FETCH retainers have a three-month minimum, ALPHA and PACK LEADER six months. After that, month to month with 30 days' notice. Everything we build stays in your name, so leaving is a password change, not a rebuild.

Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?

No. Ads management is a flat, published fee. A percentage fee rewards the agency for spending more of your money, which is the wrong incentive. Media spend is paid by you directly to the platforms.

How do international clients pay?

In USD, by card or bank transfer, invoiced on the 1st of the month. We use standard international payment providers; details are on the invoice. No GST is charged on export invoices.

Are there refunds?

One-time audits: a full refund if you cancel in writing before we have started work (we confirm the start date in writing), 50% if you cancel after work has started but before delivery, none after delivery. Retainer months already delivered are not refunded, but you can end after the minimum term with 30 days' notice. Full details are in the refund and cancellation policy.

Not sure which package fits?

Tell us your goal and budget. A founder replies with a plain recommendation, which may be "start with the free check" rather than "buy the biggest one".
